SleepSight uses the WatchPAT home sleep test device. WatchPAT is the #1 home test in the US and is used by most major health systems. It is FDA-approved for use in patients 12 and up.
WatchPAT is a highly sensitive technology, tracking 7 channels of data including snore frequency (and loudness), chest movements, heart rate, oxygen levels, actigraphy, body position and peripheral arterial tonometry (PAT).
In addition to providing an accurate Obstructive Sleep Apnea diagnosis, WatchPAT provides a range of information that may clarify patients’ sleep challenges. Information about positional sleep apnea and positional snoring may be useful. Additionally, time to fall asleep, REM duration/frequency, time awake, oxygenation levels, and other data may be of interest.

1. The patient visits a medical provider and determines a need to analyze their sleep

2. SLEEPSIGHT ships a disposable device with detailed instructions (including a 4-min video – link here) to the patient’s home. Shipping times are 3-5 days. A US based support service is available by phone 24/7 for questions.
3. Patient takes the test, and results are digitally communicated via a HIPAA compliant portal to a board-certified pediatric sleep specialist who will perform a detailed interpretation.
4. Results are communicated to the patient and to the ordering provider.
