SleepSight uses the WatchPAT home sleep test device. WatchPAT is the #1 home test in the US and is used by most major health systems. It is FDA-approved for use in patients 12 and up.
WatchPAT is a highly sensitive technology, tracking snore frequency (and loudness), chest movements, heart rate, oxygen levels, body movements, body position and peripheral arterial tonometry (PAT), which is a painless measurement of sudden vessel constrictions which occur as a physiological response to pauses in breathing.
In addition to providing an accurate Sleep Apnea diagnosis, WatchPAT provides a range of information that may clarify sleep challenges. Information about positional sleep breathing and positional snoring may be useful. Additionally, time to fall asleep, REM sleep duration/frequency, time awake, oxygenation levels, and other data may be of interest.
